53: Waking UP to The 1880 World Fair ”incubator babies”
Can History get any more crazy? Let’s talk about these sweet incubator babies of the 1880s to God only knows when they stopped 1960? After world War 11?!. In Paris and the United States Premature babies born into a side show with farm animals and “midgets” Exchanged for .25 cents, placed in the middle strange animals with strong smells and the curious stares of strangers. Babies being traded for money rather than the love of a mother. As a premature baby I’m sure this was just the start of what was their childhood which strangers.
